  - If you are new to neuroimaging or MRI, please consider collaborating with someone experienced to learn the ropes.
  - Read and follow the guidelines in the new starter guide for [[new-study-rhul | RHUL users]] or for [[new-study-partners|non-RHUL users]].
  - Attend an [[first-aid-courses|Emergency First Aid at Work training course]].
  - Read the {{ :cubic_aptraining_requirements.pdf|Procedure for becoming an approved MRI operator (AP)}} document and contact Ari <ari.lingeswaran@rhul.ac.uk> to get trained to operate the scanner.
  - You need to obtain ethics approval and secure funding for scanner time before booking scans.
